A note about head and neck supports (HANS):-
HANS posts fitted by the helmet manufacturer (OEM) are fully FIA approved and will have the FIA Decals.
Although we can offer a helmet option that is pre drilled, Retro fitted or Driver Modified HANS posts are not fully FIA approved.
Also, the position of the HANS posts are specified by the FIA and the location differs from that used in the USA.
We would strongly recommend that if the helmet is intended for use with a HANS device, that the posts are factory fitted by Simpson at the time the helmet is produced, with full FIA approval, for your utmost safety.
